Family Photo Session- San Anselmo, CA

One of the greatest joys in family photography is having the opportunity to photograph a family year after year. This was my fourth year of photographing this sweet family in Marin. It is an absolute joy to document them each year. We were lucky to have one of the most gorgeous fall golden hour sunsets during our session at this scenic Central Marin location. I love the glimpse of Mt Tamalpais peaking out in the background too.

At this point, they feel more like friends than clients, and I look forward to hearing about what they've been up to over the past year.

My goal for every session is to get a good mix of traditional portraits as well as some more candid looking images that show personality which can be a challenge with older kids. These boys were up for the task, and they did not disappoint!

I am truly grateful for four years of documenting this sweet family!

This session was photographed on both film and digital. Hybrid shooting is a great solution to achieve balance between artistry and versatility. I am a film enthusiast through and through and adore sharing my passion with my clients. Film in use is Kodak Professional Portra400 shot through Pentax645N.
