…it’s always my own kids! We hit the trails in San Rafael just in time to catch the last of Marin’s wildflower season. Spring is one of my favorite seasons to photograph kids and families in the Bay Area.

Marin Engagement Session
This gorgeous bride-to-be came to me with a vision for a timeless classic engagement session here in Marin County. Her inspiration for this portrait session was simple and elegant. We chose this secluded Sausalito Beach location just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and I couldn't be any more in love with this gorgeous film session.

Lifestyle Family Session at Home- Marin County
When I photograph families, my goal isn’t to create a perfectly posed picture. Instead, I want to document who you are together. Whether it’s the way your child holds your hand, a quiet embrace, the unfiltered laughter during an unexpected moment, or even pouty faces from a little one, film allows me to capture those fleeting interactions with artistry and sincerity.

Why Shoot Film?
It’s no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with film. I could go on and on about why I prefer to shoot film. I could tell you about how it requires me to be present and shoot with intention. We could get into how I choose a film stock based on the landscape and the time of year or how film handles highlights in a way that digital could never. I’m a shamelessly obsessed film nerd through and through.
