Six Month Photo Session- Marin

This sweet baby is almost six months old and her family marked the occasion with a family photo session in Marin County.

I don't set a time limit on my sessions. I find that being on the clock is stressful! My goal is for sessions to be fun and relaxed. This session was a perfect example. When I first spoke with this family, we decided we'd do both in home and outdoor photos. Marin has some gorgeous outdoor locations, but babies do really well at home. It's easier to photograph a baby when they're warm and cozy in their familiar space. It's much easier to put them down for solo portraits too.

I shot both film and digital, but without fail the film shots always seem to be favorites. There is just something about film that is hard to replicate with digital.
